Newton's Nation Newcastle

On Saturday the 2nd and Sunday 3rd of November Newton's lands in Newcastle and we're bringing a whole lot of action with us.  You'll be able to find us in the Honeysuckle precinct that boarders the Hunter River and near the CBD and train stations. Firstly the big news is we are FREE - no tickets, no big fences just action sports running from 10am to 4pm daily.

The first big drawcard is the Australian BMX freestyle championships or King of Dirt (depending on who you're chatting too) where the top dirt riders in Austalia come to compete. Just beside them is the 2nd round of the National BoarderX series. A world first where four skaters race over some serious obstacles at the same time.  Following on from this the Australian Scooter Association is running a amateur and pro scooter comp as well as lessons.  Mix in a bunch of DJ's, stores and other crazy action sports and why would you go anywhere else!

If you are coming from interstate then Newcastle airport has direct Jetstar and Virgin flights from major cities or jump on the train in Sydney for 8 bucks, get off at Civic station (right in Newcastle) and walk over.  Free day parking will be located in Throsby car park, 200m west of the the site area.
